Theatre Under the Stars
The Redlands Theatre Festival (RTF) is a non-profit charitable organization that produces for the general public established modern and classical works of theatre, as well as exciting new works, that are well-produced and modestly priced.

The Redlands Theatre Festival was founded in 1972 by Cliff Cabanilla, a native of Hawaii, as a summer program for the Crafton Hills College Theatre Department, which he ran for 30+ years. Professor Cabanilla's vision was to team students with seasoned professionals to form a tightly-knit theatre company and bring quality productions to the Redlands area. RTF is a non-profit, resident, rotating-repertory theatre company. RTF has performed for over three-quarters of a million people.

A typical season includes a large-scale Broadway musical, a smaller-scale Off-Broadway musical, a period piece (Shakespeare, Molière, Chekhov, American classics like Miller, Williams, Wilson, et al.), a contemporary play (often a comedy) and a wild card (experimental, avant-garde or new work). Occasionally, special events may be included in the season: concerts, invited guests and groups, etc.

RTF runs every night, Tuesday-Sunday, during its summer season. A different show plays each evening as the shows randomly rotate. See something different every night of the week! (No show on the 4th of July)
